We 4 dudes come from different walks of life, different religions and different sexual orientations. We are kinda rude, always crude and we are here for the passion of our bracelets. We are not entirely normal and we prefer it this way.

WHY WE DECIDED TO FOCUS ON QUALITY BRACELET MAKING FOR MEN

Andy: I think I can speak for most of us.  I can't find a serious collection that is focussed on MENS styling.  I will see one here or there. No one seems to have a real selection.

Vick: I went shopping in a men's clothing shop 6 months ago.  They had ONE bracelet.  Nice wooden beads. I slipped it on and the shitty rubber elastic had dried out and the beads went flying everywhere.  Pure Crap. The salesman looked at me as if I had killed a person.  I am busy apologizing and thinking there has to be something better out there.  My girlfriend bought me something at a chick shop.  Too tight, too shiny, made for women .. of course.

Bobby: I have been using that same crappy rubberized elastic for years to repair my bracelets. They don't last.  Last year I moved homes in Shanghai and the damn movers stole my bracelets and my loose beads.  Motherfuckers. I started looking for better options.  I was forced to go to these buddhist markets near my house for some slap ass shit with the same crappy elastic.     Enough was enough.

Roland: I am with Andy on this.  Give me a selection that FITS MY WRIST. Give me a selection that shows you are thinking about men, that we are not an afterthought.  I want stylish WOODEN beads and not all this bougie bougie shit that does not ground me to the earth.   The world focusses on women's fashion but we men also have a say.  And what drives me up a wall is I have thick wrists. I need bracelets that are made for me.

WHY ARE WE DONATING 15% OF OUR REVENUE UP AND DOWN THE GUANACASTE COAST OF COSTA RICA?

Quick summary: Four buddies, different backgrounds, same stages of their life. We all met in Costa Rica and we have discovered we are long lost brothers. We share many loves of Costa Rica; its biodiversity and natural beauty, its environmental leadership and sustainability, its quality of life and high standard of living, its outdoor activities, beaches and volcanoes, and finally its “Pura Vida” culture and warm hospitality. Costa Rica; we all agree, when we are there we feel an inner peace within ourselves.

Vick: I first arrived in Costa Rica in 2012. I fell in love.

Andy: For me it was 2016 and I see the government struggling to maintain public schools, and fresh water into the smaller communities, it worries me.

Roland: I first visited in 2015, we have a home here and my wife is constantly giving her time to this cause or that. We love it here. The country wants to attract wealthy investors but sometimes it is the local kids that simply get left behind.

Bobby: I am the last one, I got caught outside of China during COVID, was not allowed to return and I needed somewhere to escape to, I spent 18 months in Costa Rica. Met all you bastards. I see broken roads, leaking fresh water pipes, and services struggling under the weight of their own growth. Roland got me into the idea of giving something back to Costa Rica.

Andy: Yeah it was Roland and for a smart-ass, he really has a soft heart when it comes to kids.

Vick: Look guys, we have all achieved success in our careers and our investments. Some of us own a home here and some are buying. It is time to do what’s right.

Roland: He is right. Nobody needs us to invest in a restaurant or some commercial building, it is the kids that need some help. Their schools, their recreational activities.

Andy: And we get to see, truly see, the fruits of our labor.

Bobby: We can do what we want, in our own small way. And we decide, we don’t give it to some mindless charity that keeps 20% for themselves. If we say 15% then ALL of that money gets distributed.

Roland: The wealth gap is increasing up and down the coast, let’s do what we can to help those students that need a helping hand.

Andy: I suggest we distribute every 6 months. All in agreement?

Roland: Yup.

Vick: 100%

Bobby: Let’s do it.

WHO ARE YOU? All SHIT ASIDE.. WHO ARE YOU?

Andy: We are nobodies, real nobodies and although we might sound arrogant and fucking intense, we have simple lives.

Bobby: We are not looking for fame or fortune.

Roland: Maybe a little infamy is OK!

Vick: We all have our skeletons in our closets. As such, we decided that this project is NOT about us. Early on we figured out our initials spell BRVA.  That is us.  4 Brothers.  4 BRVVAS.  It's like fate intervened.

Bobby: None of us are perfect

Andy: The less anyone knows about us the better.

Roland: But, we are MEN. We have lived our lives as men. We are not sheep and we will not be led to any slaughter.

Vick: Amen, We know our place in this crazy world. We are smaller than small. We take what we want from life and we strive for our small slices of happiness

Roland: We are pure life force – like the intense moment of orgasm. Pure and absolute energy spurting out.

Bobby: Spurting out? Holy Shit – I can’t believe you just said that!

Roland: So deny it! Go ahead. Are we not pure energy?

Andy: Yeah sure we are but christ man that’s like a little, you know, like over the top. And it sounds really arrogant.

Roland: Balance man. That’s what is written in the book that Bobby suggested. "To My Twin Tattooed Sons"  BALANCE. We live for the sheer love of life and regrets are for pussies who are too scared to live, What is said is said and we stand by our words.

Vick: Amen BRVVA.

Andy: Amen to that.

Bobby: Oh, Mr. Dyslexia decided to read the book? Good for you Roland. So what did you take away from the word BALANCE?

Roland: Balance means that I am not a perfect individual and I accept my imperfections without any regrets. Balance means that although I may strive to be better that I might still fail and that being in Balance allows me to love myself more, even with all my perfections. I gave the book to my brother and my son – fucking blew them away. I am about to read it again.

Andy: That’s right. We are imperfect beings in an imperfect world. We are insects. We will live and die and NO ONE will remember us in 100 years. All that matters. ALL THAT FUCKING MATTERS is how we strive for our own little bits of happiness. So my BRVVAs… are we fighting for happiness or we getting beaten down by the man.

Bobby: I am fighting.

Vick: I will crush all who oppose us.

Roland: Let’s do this SHIT.

And there you have it. Four moronic friends. On a mission to bring the best damn bracelets to their fellow man. Don’t say you have not been warned. Oh that book is a real thing. It has changed us and we think you should all read it.
