MY NEIGHBOR’S DOG Barked all night. Barked at nothing, I’m sure of it. I could call animal control. Or knock on their door and rage. But I’ll choose earplugs and a deep breath. Dogs bark. That’s what they do. Peace begins when I accept the world as it is, not as I want it to be. I also don't have to wake up early tomorrow.
